Welcome to FreezonBooks.
FreezonBooks is a trading name of Freezon.com Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 11779274.
Freezon.com Limited also operates other trading brands, including Freezon.co.uk and Potential Capture Coach. Each trading brand operates within its respective area of business under Freezon.com Limited.
These Terms and Conditions relate specifically to FreezonBooks and the use of the FreezonBooks website and services. References throughout these Terms to “FreezonBooks”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean Freezon.com Limited trading as FreezonBooks, unless otherwise stated.
Please read these Terms carefully before using FreezonBooks.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
By accessing, browsing, registering with or otherwise using FreezonBooks, you agree to use the website in accordance with these Terms.
Where we ask you to expressly accept particular terms, for example during registration, checkout or use of a particular service, your affirmative acceptance will form part of your agreement with us.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use FreezonBooks.
Your use of particular FreezonBooks services may also be governed by additional terms and policies.
Where applicable:
- Vendors and Authors are additionally subject to the FreezonBooks Vendor Terms and Conditions;
- purchases are subject to the applicable Customer/Buyer Terms of Sale;
- refunds and digital downloads are subject to the Refund and Digital Download Policy;
- personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy; and
- cookies and similar technologies are addressed in our Cookie Policy.
Where service-specific terms directly conflict with these general Website Terms in relation to that particular service, the applicable service-specific terms will take precedence to the extent of that conflict.
2. ABOUT FREEZONBOOKS
FreezonBooks operates an online platform and marketplace through which users may discover, access and purchase books and other permitted digital publications and through which approved authors, publishers and other authorised Vendors may offer permitted content for sale.
Some content available through FreezonBooks is supplied by independent third-party Vendors.
The identity of the applicable seller or other material transaction information will be presented where required in connection with a particular transaction.
FreezonBooks may also provide features, information, promotional content and other services connected with books, authors, publishing and digital content.
3. USING FREEZONBOOKS
You may use FreezonBooks only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
- use FreezonBooks for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to another person’s account;
- interfere with the security or operation of the website;
- introduce viruses, malicious software or other harmful technology;
- attempt to bypass security, access-control or payment systems;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract website data without permission where such activity is unlawful or prohibited;
- use automated systems in a manner that materially disrupts the website;
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- submit materially false or misleading information;
- manipulate transactions, reviews, ratings or marketplace activity;
- use FreezonBooks to infringe another person’s intellectual property or other legal rights; or
- encourage or assist another person to undertake prohibited activity.
4. ACCOUNTS AND REGISTRATION
Certain FreezonBooks features may require an account.
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep material account information reasonably current.
You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to keep your login credentials confidential and secure.
You should notify FreezonBooks promptly if you reasonably believe that your account has been compromised or accessed without authorisation.
You must not knowingly permit another person to misuse your account.
FreezonBooks may require reasonable account, identity, security or payment verification where necessary to protect users, prevent fraud or comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
Additional verification requirements applicable to Vendors are contained in the FreezonBooks Vendor Terms and Conditions.
5. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
When you use FreezonBooks, create an account, make a purchase or communicate with us electronically, communications relating to your use of the service may also be provided electronically.
These may include transactional emails, account notifications, security notices, purchase confirmations, legally required information and service communications.
Where applicable law permits information or notices to be provided electronically, you agree that electronic communications may satisfy applicable requirements for written communications.
Marketing communications will be handled separately in accordance with applicable privacy and electronic-marketing requirements.
6. BOOKS AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
FreezonBooks may display books, descriptions, covers, author information and other content supplied by independent Vendors or other third parties.
Vendors are responsible under the applicable Vendor Terms for ensuring that they have the necessary rights to content they upload and that their listing information is accurate.
FreezonBooks may undertake reasonable review or verification measures, but the presence of third-party content on the marketplace does not constitute a representation that FreezonBooks created or owns that content.
FreezonBooks may investigate credible complaints and restrict or remove content where reasonably necessary.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Except for content belonging to Vendors, users or other third parties, the FreezonBooks website and its original content, branding, graphics, logos, design, software, databases and other intellectual property are owned by or licensed to Freezon.com Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Your use of FreezonBooks does not transfer ownership of any FreezonBooks intellectual property to you.
You may use the website for lawful personal or business purposes consistent with these Terms.
You must not reproduce, republish, sell, commercially exploit, modify or distribute protected FreezonBooks material without permission unless applicable law permits such use.
Authors and Vendors retain their rights in their own content as provided in the Vendor Terms.
8. COPYRIGHT AND RIGHTS COMPLAINTS
FreezonBooks respects intellectual-property rights.
If you reasonably believe that content available through FreezonBooks infringes your copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights, you may contact us using the official contact information provided on the website.
Please provide sufficient information to allow us to identify the material concerned and understand the basis of your complaint.
FreezonBooks may temporarily restrict or remove content while a credible complaint is investigated.
We may contact the Vendor or other relevant party for information concerning the disputed content.
Knowingly submitting false or materially misleading infringement complaints may itself violate these Terms or applicable law.
9. REVIEWS, RATINGS AND USER CONTENT
Where FreezonBooks permits reviews, ratings, comments or other user-generated content, users must provide genuine contributions based on their actual experience where relevant.
You must not knowingly:
- submit fake or fabricated reviews;
- purchase or sell fake reviews;
- manipulate ratings;
- submit reviews in exchange for undisclosed incentives where disclosure is required;
- impersonate another customer;
- coordinate deceptive review activity; or
- submit unlawful, defamatory, threatening or infringing content.
FreezonBooks may use reasonable measures to prevent, detect, investigate and remove fake or misleading reviews and other prohibited user content.
FreezonBooks may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or applicable law.
10. PRICES AND MARKETPLACE INFORMATION
FreezonBooks aims to present prices and other material marketplace information clearly and accurately.
The price applicable to a transaction will be displayed before the customer completes the purchase.
Where taxes, charges or other amounts are required to be included or disclosed by applicable law, they will be dealt with in accordance with those requirements.
Promotional prices, discounts and offers may be subject to stated conditions and availability.
FreezonBooks will not knowingly use misleading pricing practices or materially misrepresent the existence or duration of promotional offers.

11. DIGITAL CONTENT
FreezonBooks primarily facilitates the sale and delivery of digital publications, including e-books.
Digital content may be subject to technical requirements relating to file format, compatible devices, software or internet access.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate equipment and software to access the digital content, subject to information FreezonBooks or the applicable seller is legally required to provide before purchase.
Rights relating to cancellation, immediate digital supply, faulty digital content and refunds are addressed in the applicable Customer/Buyer Terms and Refund and Digital Download Policy.
Nothing in these Website Terms removes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
12. PAYMENTS
Purchases may be processed through third-party payment providers.
Payment methods available through FreezonBooks may change from time to time.
You must provide accurate payment information and must have authority to use the payment method submitted.
FreezonBooks may reasonably decline, delay or investigate transactions where fraud, unauthorised payment activity, technical error or other material security concerns are suspected.
FreezonBooks is not responsible for failures caused solely by a customer’s bank or independent payment provider where those matters are outside our reasonable control.
13. PROMOTIONS AND SPECIAL OFFERS
FreezonBooks may occasionally offer discounts, promotional campaigns, coupons or other special offers.
Such promotions may have additional conditions, including eligibility requirements, expiry dates or limitations.
Where additional promotional conditions apply, they will be communicated in connection with the relevant promotion.
Promotional offers may not be combined unless expressly stated.
Nothing in this section permits FreezonBooks to withdraw or retrospectively alter a promotion in a manner prohibited by applicable law.
14. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
FreezonBooks may contain links to websites, applications or services operated by third parties.
Such links may be provided for convenience or informational purposes and do not necessarily constitute endorsement.
FreezonBooks does not control independent third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, security, availability or privacy practices.
When you leave FreezonBooks, the third party’s own terms and policies may apply.
15. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
We aim to maintain a reasonably reliable and secure website.
However, FreezonBooks may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, hosting interruptions, internet failures, cybersecurity incidents, payment-provider issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may change, maintain, update or discontinue particular website features where reasonably necessary.

Nothing on general informational areas of FreezonBooks constitutes legal, financial, tax or other regulated professional advice unless expressly stated otherwise.
Users should obtain appropriate professional advice where their circumstances require it.
Nothing in this section affects obligations FreezonBooks has in relation to contractual information, digital content or other matters that applicable law requires to be accurate.
20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to applicable law, FreezonBooks will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the relevant relationship arose or losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where you use FreezonBooks wholly or mainly for business purposes, additional limitations may apply under the relevant Vendor or business-specific terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
21. CHANGES TO FREEZONBOOKS
We may develop, modify or update FreezonBooks from time to time.
This may include introducing new features, improving existing functionality, modifying technical requirements or discontinuing features that are no longer reasonably required.
We will not use this provision to retrospectively remove accrued contractual rights where doing so would be unlawful.
22. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Website Terms where reasonably necessary because of changes to FreezonBooks, applicable law, security requirements, technology or our legitimate business operations.
The current version and effective date will be displayed on this page.
Where a change materially affects an existing contractual relationship and applicable law requires notice, we will provide appropriate notice before the change takes effect.
Changes will not ordinarily apply retrospectively to completed transactions.
23. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found by a competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be restricted, modified or removed only to the extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
24. NO WAIVER
If FreezonBooks does not immediately exercise a right available under these Terms, that does not mean that right has been permanently waived.
A waiver concerning one matter does not automatically constitute a waiver concerning another matter.
25. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Website Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction, nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory legal protections or jurisdictional rights that applicable law gives you.
Where legally permitted, FreezonBooks and users are encouraged to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith before commencing formal proceedings.
Subject to mandatory jurisdictional rules that cannot lawfully be excluded, the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising from or connected with these Terms.
